The vehicles are self-driving, but there will be an autonomous vehicle operator onboard at all times to ensure safe operation of the vehicle and aid passengers as needed.

Those that are eligible can book an on-demand ride through the ACCESSIBILI-D app (available in App Store for iOS or on Google Play for Android).

Rides are available Monday, Wednesday through Friday from 8am-6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am-1pm to participants in the program.

Our service is free for eligible participants.

ACCESSIBILI-D operates a little differently than a taxi—we function like part of public transit. Think of a bus or a train, except we operate on-demand instead of in a loop. Our system is pre-programmed to pick up and drop off at specific locations that have been vetted and deemed safe for everyone. We do appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we advance our service.

Our vehicles are dynamically routed and after completing a ride depart to pick up the next rider. A return ride has to be booked separately.

We prioritize safety, comfort and autonomy—in that order. To ensure passenger safety, we employ a rigorous testing and validation process to ensure the reliability and robustness of its autonomous systems. Our internal safety counsel tests all new releases before they go out, both through simulation and real-world testing and validation.
